Founded in 1980 on this very spot along Jalan Pantai Kuta, Yulia’s Kitchen was created by Mr. & Mrs. Halim, whose hospitality journey began in 1972 with the beloved Yulia Beach Inn. Ever since, this corner of Bali has been a place of genuine warmth, familiar flavors, and generations of welcome.

The restaurant still stands in its original home—now reimagined with the same spirit that first brought it to life. Guests who visit can find a few rare family photos near the entrance, including a cherished image of Yulia as a toddler—an intimate glimpse into our story, waiting to be discovered.

At Yulia’s Kitchen, we celebrate Bali’s rich culinary heritage through traditional, home-style dishes inspired by Mrs. Halim’s lifelong passion for cooking. That passion lives on through her daughter, Yulia, and now her grandchild—the third generation—who carries the legacy forward with fresh perspective after honing his craft in Australia and New York.
